A Life for a Life
~Chris Mardiroussian
A Life for a Life
A life for a life,
they say
A loss of you
is an
insidious, intoxicated
infinite loophole
forfeiture of me
Even if fragmented
bare-back from
the sombrous
nitrous nightmare,
repeats another
A life for a life
they say
A loss of you
is a
castrated, cremated
cacophony loophole
that never
weeps
of me
A life for a life,
They say.
