About the Author

Liv Rubenstein (she/her) is currently a high school junior at Houston’s St. John’s School (sjs.org) where she serves as the Managing Editor of St. John’s Imagination Literary Magazine, the school’s popular literary journal. Liv is passionate about creating, as well as supporting those who create, poetry, historical fiction and magical realism. When not reading, writing or fencing, she’s likely working on a service project for Girl Scouts, where she’s been a lifelong member and achieved scouting’s highest rank, the Gold Award.
